As an outstanding graduate of Leadership Sarasota, Class of 1993, Mr. Tavill will receive the 2020 "Impact in Action" award from the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce for the direct impact he has made on thousands of children and families living at-risk. Under his guidance, Children First has grown to serve more than 900 children and their families annually. The agency has been named a Head Start Program of Excellence four consecutive times, ranking in the top 1% of more than 1,800 programs nationwide. He will celebrate his 25th anniversary as CEO in 2021 as the agency celebrates 60 years.
