The Board of Directors of BBX Capital Corporation has announced the appointment of Mr. Gregory Adam Haile to its Board of Directors. Mr. Haile is the President of Broward College, a role he assumed in July of 2018. Prior to his appointment, President Haile served as the General Counsel and Vice President for Public Policy and Government Affairs for Broward College from 2011 to 2018.

Shutts & Bowen Tallahassee partner Rachel Nordby was recently appointed to the First District Court of Appeal (DCA) by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Before joining Shutts, Rachel served as the Senior Deputy Solicitor General for Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and as a judicial law clerk at the First DCA for Judge Bradford Thomas.
Pedro Romano Fragoso Pires has joined Foley & Lardner in Miami as a member of its Business Law Department.

Jason Hand joins the Florida Senior Living Association (FSLA) as the Vice President of Public Policy and Legal Affairs. Hand will be responsible for managing the legislative, regulatory and policy activities of FSLA on behalf of its members. FSLA serves professionally managed senior living communities offering independent, assisted living, and memory care services.
Residential/commercial builder Carlton Construction announces the hire of Charles Garrison as Business Development Manager. Garrison will lead the sales and marketing team, while serving as the main contact for current and future client relationships. Garrison is also active in NEFBA and serves on the Jacksonville Housing & Community Development Commission.
Keith Banasiak, Regional Vice President of Waste Pro's West Coast Region, has been promoted to Senior Vice President. With more than 30 years of management experience in the waste industry, he has led one of the company's largest regions with more than 275,000 residential customers and more than 10,000 commercial customers across Florida's West Coast.

She graduated with honors from Stetson College of Law, Tulane University Graduate School of Business, and Newcomb College of Tulane. Houghton is licensed to practice law in Florida and served as Chairman of the Board for Signature Bank in St. Petersburg.
