Francisco R. Maderal, former Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, has rejoined the law firm of Colson Hicks Eidson as a partner. Maderal was an associate trial attorney at the firm in 2011 before joining the U.S. Attorney's Office in 2012 where he spent six years in the major crimes, international narcotics and money laundering sections.

Port Canaveral CEO Capt. John Murray has been elected vice-chair of the Florida Seaport Transportation and Economic Development Council. The Council is a public entity created by statute and charged with carrying out Florida’s economic development mission through implementation of seaport capital improvement projects at the local level.

Florida Community Care has appointed David Rogers as executive director and chief operating officer. FCC, a subsidiary of Independent Living Systems, is a Provider Services Network that has been awarded a contract by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration to serve Medicaid beneficiaries in all 11 regions as a Long-Term Care Plus Plan.
Jeffrey M. Welch has been appointed to the position of chief executive officer of Florida Medical Center and Tenet’s Miami-Dade Group, which consists of a network of five hospitals. Welch will be responsible for overseeing all strategic, operational and clinical activities at Florida Medical Center, and he will provide oversight and leadership for the other hospitals in the Miami-Dade Group.
Crossman & Company has announced the promotion of Nicole Lewis to Regional Director-Property Management. Nicole's region includes Orlando and North Florida. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the portfolio performance and the ongoing operations of a multitude of high end institutional retail properties located in the Orlando metro area and Jacksonville.
