Burr also is pursuing acquisitions in South Florida and is charged with growing the company throughout the region. Burr is based in Jupiter, Fla.
Geographic Solutions, the nation's leading provider of software solutions for workforce development, unemployment processing and labor market information, has named Evan Stevens as its Director of UI Development. He brings 18 years of software development, architecture, analysis, project management, and technical integration in Enterprise applications to the company.

His appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.

Former Hillsborough County Commissioner Lesley "Les" Miller, Jr. has joined Shumaker Advisors Florida, LLC. Les served as a member of the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, and served as the board's chair three times. He also served as a member of the Florida Senate and in the Florida House of Representatives.
