Florida Governor Rick Scott has appointed Jackie Schutz Zeckman to be Chief of Staff of the Governor’s Office, beginning July 1st. Schutz Zeckman has been serving as Governor Scott’s communications director and chief spokesperson since December 2014. Prior to that, she served as deputy communications director for Governor Scott’s successful reelection campaign.

The two are overseeing the U.S. News and World Report ranked pediatric cardiac surgery and cardiology programs at the hospital.
