Conners succeeds Tommy Inzina who announced his retirement earlier this year.

AACSB International (AACSB), the world's largest business education alliance, has announced Tim Mescon, Executive Vice President and Chief Officer of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, is retiring on December 31, 2022. Mescon has been part of AACSB since January 2015, when he helped establish and open the AACSB EMEA office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Downey was selected to lead the university’s student affairs following a nationwide search. He joins Stetson from Widener University in Pennsylvania, where he served as Dean of Students. Downey begins his new position on Jan. 1, 2023.
