Stephanie D. Conners, an experienced health care leader who began her career as a nurse, is now BayCare Health System's CEO and President, the fourth person to hold the role for West Central Florida's largest not-for-profit health care provider. Conners succeeds Tommy Inzina who announced his retirement earlier this year.

John P. Downey, PhD, has been named Vice President of Campus Life and Student Success at Stetson University in DeLand. Downey was selected to lead the university’s student affairs following a nationwide search. He joins Stetson from Widener University in Pennsylvania, where he served as Dean of Students. Downey begins his new position on Jan. 1, 2023.
