› Tampa Bay homebuyers see relief as inventory increases
Realtor.com released its February housing report, which shows the spring housing market is shaping up to be an active one for prospective homebuyers, especially in Tampa Bay. February marked the fourth consecutive month of year-over-year increases in homes for sale in the U.S., signaling a promising spring season ahead for the housing market.

› Bonita Springs firm to study cannabis financing
Ever wonder how hemp and cannabis businesses get off the ground? Green Check, a financial tech company connecting hemp and cannabis commerce, says it partnered with two entities to produce a research report examining cannabis debt and equity financing. One of the firms is familiar to the Florida cannabis and hemp debate.

› This Miami Beach hotel is closing but will return with two José Andrés restaurants
The Confidante Hotel on Collins Avenue will close on March 25 as it is set to undergo construction. When it reopens, the hotel will be rebranded as Andaz Hotel though it will continue to be operated by Hyatt Hotels Corporation which maintains the Andaz brand. The property dates back to 1940 when it was originally known as the Lord Tarleton Hotel.

› FWC unveils interactive website to help explorers find recreation sites near them
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is now offering a website that offers an easier way for nature lovers to plan their excursions. Users of the website can experience a catered search of over 6 million acres of state-managed conservation lands.
