› Disney's new Treasure to debut in 2024 at Port Canaveral with expansive new attractions
Disney Cruise Line's sixth ship, the Treasure, will debut at Port Canaveral in December 2024 â?• the same port Disney's other five ships were introduced. Disney announced Tuesday that the Treasure will offer seven-night sailings from Port Canaveral â?• the world's busiest cruise port â?• on various itineraries in the Eastern and Western Caribbean. The first sailing will be Dec. 21, 2024.

› ICE completes $11.9 billion acquisition of Black Knight
Intercontinental Exchange Inc. said Sept. 5 it completed its acquisition of Jacksonville-based mortgage technology company Black Knight Inc. The companies announced a merger agreement in May 2022 but the deal was held up by Federal Trade Commission antitrust concerns that the deal would give ICE too much control over the U.S. mortgage technology market. ICE is best known as operator of the New York Stock Exchange but it also has a large mortgage technology subsidiary.

› Hippodrome to kick off 51st season with 'POTUS' comedy
On Sept. 8, the Hippodrome will open its 51st season with “POTUS” or “Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive.” The play, which will run through Oct. 1, is the Hipp’s latest collaboration with the University of Florida's School of Theater and Dance.

› Grass is growing at Sarasota's Bobby Jones Golf Club as it looks to reopen
Sarasota residents and visitors will soon be able to play golf at the upgraded Bobby Jones Golf Club. Richard Mandell, the architect for the renovation of the golf complex, said the 18-hole course and driving range are expected to open in early November. The Bobby Jones nature park will also open then, while the nine-hole short course will open later. The re-opening marks the start of a new era for the municipal golf course.
