› Hurricane center identifies tropical wave in Atlantic moving toward Caribbean
The National Hurricane Center is tracking a tropical wave in the Atlantic Ocean, headed toward the Caribbean. The wave is 275 miles east of the Windward Islands and continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms while moving at around 15 to 20 mph, said Dave Roberts, a U.S. Navy Hurricane Specialist at the NHC.

The beaches in Broward County have been reopen more than two weeks and while residents are thrilled to be able to enjoy the sun and sand, they are leaving things behind. Trash is now back on the beach, too.

Billionaire developer Vladislav Doronin is making his first foray into Fort Lauderdale. Doronin’s Miami-based development firm, OKO Group, has paid $62.59 million for 6.68 acres in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
› Mall at Millenia in Orlando lands an Amazon 4-Star store
A store selling Amazon’s top items is planned for Mall at Millenia. The Amazon 4-Star store will sell electronics, toys, books, kitchen products and home goods, according to the company’s website. The products are either top sellers, new and trending on the online retailer’s website or rated with at least four stars by customers.
