› Wildlife officials: Watch out for migrating manatees
Florida wildlife officials are reminding boaters to slow down and watch out for manatees as they begin their annual trek toward warmer water. A Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission news release says the state has more than 6,000 manatees in rivers, bays and coastal waters.

› Legoland Florida shares more news about new rides coming this spring
Legoland Florida officially unveiled Wednesday to its peers three attractions that will be part of its new Lego Movie World expansion, expected to open in the spring. The announcement came at one of the amusement park industry’s largest trade shows.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals Southwest Florida Chapter hosted the “Change the World With a Giving Heart” luncheon Tuesday at Michael’s on East. They recognized 43 individuals, families and groups for their generosity, whether it be through donations or volunteer work.
