› Commonwealth-Altadis tobacco company to lay off 150 workers
A merger in the tobacco industry will send some Fort Lauderdale jobs up in smoke. Commonwealth-Altadis, a tobacco sales and distribution company, has notified state officials that it will lay off 150 people in Fort Lauderdale.
