› Miami business owner sentenced in $74M Medicare fraud
The owner of two Miami health care companies was sentenced to more than seven years in prison Wednesday for participating in a $74 million Medicare fraud scheme.

› AT&T expands U-verse services in South Florida
AT&T on Wednesday announced the expansion of AT&T U-verse services to nearly 3,000 additional locations in the Fort Lauderdale-Miami area, including nearly 700 new locations in Miami and about 500 new locations in Fort Lauderdale.

› Jacksonville company builds UF's first entrepreneurial-focused student housing
Signet Development, a strategic real estate development and capital solutions company, is developing a new kind of residential space for students at the University of Florida.

› Brickell condo project scores $76M loan
The 1010 Brickell condominium project secured a $76 million construction loan for its 387 units. The developers broke ground on 1010 Brickell in September and expect to complete it in 2017.
