? The Downtown Disney Resort Area Hotels consortium of seven properties at Lake Buena Vista is unveiling a combined $100 million in renovations this year that range from room upgrades to new restaurants to additional meeting space. Properties represent a total of 3,600 rooms and 27 restaurants and include the Doubletree Guest Suites, Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Royal Plaza, Grosvenor Resort and Best Western Lake Buena Vista.
? Finvarb Group, which owns and operates Marriottbranded properties nationwide, has opened the fi rst new downtown Tallahassee hotel in more than 20 years. The 135-room Residence Inn by Marriott is across the street from the Tallahassee Leon County Civic Center.
