» Criminal defense attorney Richard Rosenbaum has joined Arnstein & Lehr’s Fort Lauderdale office as a partner. >> Paul D’Arelli, a shareholder with Greenberg Traurig in Fort Lauderdale, is the first Florida-based attorney to be certified as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional by the U.S. Green Building Council.

» Gregory J. Johnson, a construction law attorney, has joined Peckar & Abramson as a partner and will lead the firm’s new office in Orlando.

» Robert A. Zinn has been appointed president of Akerman Senterfitt, the largest law firm based in Florida. Also, Akerman has named James S. Bramnick managing shareholder of its Miami office.

» Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport graduated 250 students in May, the biggest class in the law school’s history.

» Carlos Burruezo, managing partner with labor and employment law firm Fisher & Phillips Orlando, has been installed as 2007-08 president of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
