Warm Mineral Springs, North Port
In North Port, south of Venice on Florida’s west coast, the 87-degree water of Warm Mineral Springs boasts the world’s third-highest level of minerals long sought for their restorative powers for skin conditions, stress, pain, arthritis and other ailments. The park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Daily admission is $20, with discounts available. A master-planned community of condominiums and businesses is under development there, along with the Fountain of Youth Institute for National Healing. Visitors can also take home or order rejuvenation products, including a one-liter bottle of the mineral water for $14.95.
