Artist’s Legacy

Until his death in May at age 82, artist and Captiva resident Robert Rauschenberg was an enthusiastic supporter of ACT Inc., a Southwest Florida non-profit that aids victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The Bob Rauschenberg Gallery, located on the Lee County campus of Edison College, is hosting “Arts for ACT” through Aug. 14 to benefit the group. Following the show’s run, the works will be auctioned, with proceeds going to ACT Inc. Gallery admission is free. More information: 239/489-9313.
