» David J. Duda was named president of A. Duda & Sons in Ovideo. He had been chief administrative officer. CFO Barton Weeks has also been appointed COO. He has worked at Duda for 25 years.

» Stetson University named Stuart Michelson, its Roland and Sarah George professor of finance, dean of the School of Business Administration. Michelson succeeds James Scheiner, who will remain at Stetson as a professor in accounting.

» Florida Hospital DeLand has named Randy Surber COO. He has worked for parent company Adventist Health System for 12 years.

» Kimberly Sterling, president of Orlando financial planning and investment advisory firm Resource Consulting Group, has been elected president of the Zero Alpha Group, an international network of independent fee-only firms.
