› Looming legal battle could shape Sarasota skyline as developer sues Quay owners
One Park Sarasota promises million-dollar views with the million-dollar lifestyle in its nearly 300-foot-tall glass and concrete tower soaring over The Bay Park on the downtown bayfront. Developers have already sold about 65% of the units in the proposed $400 million project, where prices began at $1.9 million during the first months of sales last year, and soared to $2.8 million in June. The price for just one of the six penthouse units is listed at $13.7 million today.

Federal law enforcement agents raided a Miami-area pharmacy on Tuesday after investigators uncovered evidence that the establishment might be operating the largest opioid pill mill in Florida, according to a source familiar with the investigation.
› Rezoning would bring new restaurants, offices and retail to Jacksonville Beach
Trevato Development Group wants to rezone 1.15 acres to develop the Gallery at Jacksonville Beach, an office, retail and restaurant project. The four-phase project is west of the Jacksonville Beach Pier. The first phase has been completed with the construction of the O-Ku restaurant at 502 N. First St. and the remodeling of the Gallery office space at 177 Fourth Ave. N., which was the former J. Johnson Gallery.

Brian “B.V.” Cooper set up an art table in the clubhouse of a Town ‘n’ Country apartment complex. He poured paint into little round trays, put on happy music and offered wine and snacks to a group of residents who had gathered for the evening. The Paint and Sip event is an amenity offered at the Amira at Westly in Town ‘n’ Country. It’s led by Cooper, an artist in residence who lives at the complex rent-free in exchange for leading free art classes.
