› South Florida group challenges state's abortion law
A South Florida Jewish congregation has challenged a new state law that blocks abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy, contending the measure violates privacy and religious-freedom rights. The lawsuit, filed Friday in Leon County circuit court by Congregation L'Dor Va-Dor, seeks to block the law from taking effect July 1. Abortion clinics also filed a lawsuit this month in Leon County challenging the constitutionality of the restriction.

› Hitchcock’s Green Market in St. Petersburg will close this month
Hitchcock’s opened in summer 2020, just a couple of months after a trendy Lucky’s Market exited the space and closed all its stores in Florida. Hitchock’s, based in Alachua, has 11 locations throughout Florida, mostly in rural locations. It had attracted a following in west St. Petersburg for its butcher’s selection and other products not sold in other nearby stores.

› Jacksonville International Tradeport portfolio sold for $140.2 million
A sixth deed recorded June 14 shows that Link Logistics Real Estate LLC of New York sold an eight-building industrial portfolio in North Jacksonville to Lincoln Property Co. for almost $140.2 million. Link Logistics sold eight buildings in Jacksonville International Tradeport. The six deeds for the properties were executed June 2. Link Logistics Chief Administrative Officer Sonya Huffman signed them.

› Boca Raton Wi-Fi firm expands to Southwest Florida
A Boca Raton network engineering firm, which provides advances Wi-Fi services to marinas and warehouses, among other large properties, is expanding its business to Southwest Florida. Now with an office in Bonita Springs, the firm, Madgig Networks, handles design and support of reliable Wi-Fi installations for marinas, warehouses, construction sites, hotels, multi-building campuses, office buildings and other large commercial indoor and outdoor complexes.
