› Drizly launches 1-hour alcohol delivery in Jacksonville, St. Augustine
Online alcohol delivery company Drizly announced Sept. 2 it is launching service in Jacksonville and Saint Augustine to deliver beer, wine and spirits in less than an hour. The service is in partnership with Shores Liquor, which has 13 Northeast Florida stores.

› Work to begin on luxury auto track Drivers Club Miami
A luxury auto track and commercial development planned near Miami Gardens is scheduled to begin construction in November after a delay in early phases pushed the completion date back almost two years. Drivers Club Miami, a more than $100 million project being developed by 13 Pista LLC, would include a two-mile private driving track, club, hotel, retail, dining and cultural attractions upon completion by early 2029. The project is based at a 160-acre county-owned site at 20000 NW 47th Ave. that previously housed the Landmark Learning Center.

› A new piece of public art is coming to Tampa’s West River redevelopment plan
Ya La’ford has been putting her distinctive mark of geometric patterns in paintings and sculptures around Tampa Bay for several years. Soon, she’ll translate her work into a significant interactive land art piece in Tampa. Titled Boulevard Flow, the installation will include a labyrinth-shaped park and a 10-foot sculptural metal sphere atop a 6-foot tall pedestal.

› Bradenton tournament brings in 500 spectators, 531 athletes for six-day event 
A world cornhole event held in Bradenton that brought in 531 athletes holds promise for future events and return visitors. The Bradenton Area Convention Center hosted the American Cornhole Organization's World Championships of Cornhole 16 during week of July 26-31. The event followed the 2021 U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships held in the Bradenton area.
