› Florida's hurricane sales tax holiday starts May 28
Florida's annual hurricane sales tax holiday is coming back this year to help you save money on supplies. It will run from May 28 through June 6. The 10-day period is officially called the Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday. It's in place to encourage Floridians to stock up on critical needs before a hurricane or a tropical storm comes our way.
