As Florida reopens, how are we doing? These are the numbers to watch.

It’s been more than three weeks since Florida began the first phase of reopening, a critical point at which experts say we should begin to see how reopening is affecting the number of new coronavirus infections and deaths. Both have been trending down statewide, but the story is different in some counties where the curves are nudging upward again. A third named storm could form out at sea before hurricane season officially starts

Hurricane season officially starts June 1, but a third named storm could potentially form in the Atlantic even before that. The National Hurricane Center is tracking a disturbance several hundred miles east of Bermuda that poses no threat to the east coast or the Caribbean at this time. Forecasters said the disturbance has a 50 percent chance of strengthening into a subtropical depression Friday or Saturday. If so, it would be named Cristobal. More from the Miami Herald.

What will co-working look like in the future? This growing Miami company has an idea

The co-working offices of the future may scrap floating desks all together. A new shared workspace coming to Miami is saying ‘goodbye’ to common work spaces, and ‘hello’ to more cubicles after the coronavirus pandemic. The Brickell-based private equity and management firm CGI Merchant Group is expanding its co-working brand Nexus into Coral Gables, said Raoul Thomas, the firm’s founder and chief executive officer. SpaceX launch: How to watch on Saturday on TV and in person at the Space Coast

 Weekend crowds on the Space Coast may get a special Saturday or Sunday afternoon treat: A rocket launch with astronauts on board. SpaceX and NASA had to scrub their attempted return to human spaceflight on Wednesday and are now targeting a Saturday takeoff at 3:22 p.m. carrying astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley. It’ll be the first time in nine years that Americans have blasted off from U.S. soil.

floridaNaked Farmer, which launched in March as a digital farmers market concept, is opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant in St. Petersburg. Customers will be able to dine in the restaurant or order locally sourced food for delivery or pickup, according to a press release. Naked Farmer Founder Jordan Johnson, in a statement, says he started the business because the food system is broken, with too many people unable to procure healthy, fresh, locally produced food at reasonable prices.
