› Atlanta company to buy, develop Pasco industrial site
Under separate agreements approved by Pasco County commissioners Tuesday in Dade City, Rooker Properties LLC will purchase approximately 99 acres of land owned by Pasco County’s Utilities Department and then use a $3.7 million county incentive to build at least 400,000 square feet of industrial and office space.

› PGT to acquire NewSouth for $92 million
In another expansion play, PGT Innovations Inc. signed a deal Tuesday to buy NewSouth Window Solutions for $92 million. PGT will broaden its business into direct-to-consumer sales, a niche that NewSouth has aggressively pursued in Florida, reaching an estimated $85 million in sales this year. PGT, the largest private employer based in Sarasota County, will pay cash for NewSouth, using funds on hand and $50 million in long-term debt.

› Disney and Lucasfilm sue Winter Garden company over copyright infringement
Disney and Lucasfilm are suing a Winter Garden company that sells theme park and Star Wars T-shirts over trademark and copyright infringement, according to a lawsuit filed Monday. The lawsuit, filed in federal Orlando court, is seeking unspecified damages.

› JEA Board member Andy Allen resigns
Real estate developer Andy Allen resigned from JEA’s board of directors earlier this month, citing a lack of time to continue overseeing the beleaguered city-owned utility. While Allen submitted his resignation to Mayor Lenny Curry on Dec. 2, JEA and city officials were silent on his decision until Tuesday, when it provided a copy of Allen’s resignation letter after the Times-Union requested it a day earlier.
