› Visit St. Pete/Clearwater selects three finalists in CEO search
Pinellas County has selected three finalists to take over as the head of its tourism agency, Visit St. Pete/Clearwater. At a Tuesday morning County Commission meeting, administrator Barry Burton named the candidates: Tim Ramsberger, Visit St. Pete/Clearwater's current chief operating officer; Tamara Pigott, the director of Lee County's tourism bureau; and Brent DeRaad, the CEO of Visit Tucson.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis recently announced that he will be heading a trade mission to Israel in May. He will be joined by Florida's Cabinet -- Attorney General Ashley Moody, Commissioner of Agriculture Nikki Fried, and Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis. An official meeting of the Florida Cabinet will take place at the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem during the visit.
