› Neal Communities posts consistent growth in 2018
Neal Communities had 1,061 sales and 1,148 home closings in 2018 in the company’s 31 communities ranging from Apollo Beach to Naples. Developments in Lakewood Ranch and south Sarasota County dominated 2018 sales.

› Tampa-based Vector Solutions acquires Oregon software company
Tampa-based online learning company Vector Solutions acquired CrewSense, an Oregon company that handles human resources and scheduling software. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

› No joke! Florida roads ranked best in U.S.
Believe it or not, Florida is the top-ranked state in the entire country when it comes to road quality. The ranking was sponsored by Lvl5, a company that creates high definition maps for self-driving cars.

› SeaVee Boats preparing to double manufacturing space
SeaVee Boats hopes to move into its new 220,000-square-foot manufacturing site on 10 acres in August, though the construction firm, TA Builders, is hoping for May, according to Vice President of Engineering Robert Kaidy.
