› FIT opening 32-acre cargo facility at Port Everglades
Florida International Terminal LLC (FIT) is opening a 32-acre containerized cargo terminal at Broward County’s Port Everglades with double the number of entry gates and adding scales, heavy equipment, technology and increased stacking capacity.

› Aldi joins fray of grocery delivery in Sarasota-Manatee
When it comes to grocery home delivery in Florida, there are Publix, Whole Foods, Costco and even Total Wine & More, among others. And now there’s Aldi. The discount grocer, which has four Sarasota-Manatee locations and a fifth under construction, announced it has expanded its home delivery reach to Florida through grocery e-commerce company Instacart.

› Tampa ranks No. 7 for complaints of tech support scams
Ever receive a phony "tech support" email or call? In the city of Tampa, you’re not alone. Tampa has the dubious honor of ranking No. 7 on Microsoft’s list of nine cities with the highest number of complaints about such scams. Tampa’s total: 1,970 such complaints since 2016.

› Conservation groups file lawsuit to protect Florida bonneted bats
This week, three conversation groups sued U.S Fish and Wildlife Service to protect the Florida bonneted bats. The species is at the brink of extinction due to urban and agricultural sprawl and climate change, according to Center for Biological Diversity.
