Florida has always been a magnet for dreamers and doers. It was, after all, to this place that explorers from the old world came to plant their first permanent settlement in the new. And it was from this place a little more than four centuries later that another band of explorers left to plant their footprints on the moon.

Today, dozens of dreamers and doers stake their futures on Florida each year by relocating or expanding their businesses here. Why here, why now? Because few states can match the assets Florida has to offer: top business climate, unparalleled infrastructure efficiency, easy access to global markets, an abundant and talented workforce and, above all, a quality of life that simply has no equal. The anticipation of success draws new companies to Florida; a proven history of it keeps existing firms here for the long term.

Selecting a site in which to launch or grow a business is neither an easy process nor a quick one. But as you weigh the pluses and minuses of the sites to consider, know this: the companies now realizing success in Florida once wrestled with your same concerns. They found homes here; you can too.

We believe that you belong in Florida. Read on to learn more, then join us. We look forward to welcoming you home.

Rare, two-headed snake found in Palm Harbor home

A family in Palm Harbor recently found a rare creature in their home – a two-headed snake. FWC researchers said the phenomenon is named bicephaly – an uncommon occurrence that happens during snake embryo development. When two monozygotic twins fail to separate, it leaves the heads conjoined onto a single body.
