Boca Raton-based ADT Inc. has acquired Secure Designs Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Announced Tuesday, Secure Designs will begin operating as part of ADT Cybersecurity immediately.
› Orlando City Hall to become first Florida government building with all-user bathrooms
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer announced Tuesday that City Hall will soon have gender neutral restrooms, becoming the first government building in Florida to do so. Dyer said during his State of the City address that the new non-gender-specific bathrooms are currently under construction at the Downtown City Hall building.

Look out for calls about new pain-relieving medicine, especially if you are a customer of the state’s largest health insurer, Florida Blue, warns an advisory that calls the effort “shameful” and a “scam.” Such calls can deliver a dose of financial hurt including identity theft or bogus charges, according to the state’s top financial officer.
