Tampa television station sold for $18.7 million

WUSF Public Media will end broadcasting of its television channel Oct. 15. The end of broadcasting comes after the sale of the WUSF TV broadcast license in the Federal Communications Commission Spectrum Incentive Auction. The station was sold for $18.7 million. More from the Business Observer.

Jacksonville’s FirstAtlantic Financial Holdings Inc. has been acquired by an Alabama financial institution in a deal worth about $3.1 billion in assets.
