Florida employee pay hikes on the table

Florida would have more state employees, and at least some of them would make more money, under a budget proposal unveiled this week by Gov. Rick Scott. Orlando Health to affiliate with Lakeland Regional Health

Orlando Health and Lakeland Regional Health announced on Feb. 1 that they have signed a letter of intent to create an integrated regional health care system. “We are extremely pleased to affiliate with nationally recognized Lakeland Regional Health,” said David Strong, president and CEO, Orlando Health. In response, a group of academic leaders in 2015 created Talent Development Network (TDN), a portal that links businesses and university students in the county for paid internships.
