Why is home building lagging job creation?

The National Association of Realtors calculates that home construction lagged behind job creation last year in nearly two-thirds of the 146 U.S. metro areas it studied. Fruit firm will chew on new owner

A group of Illinois investors with holdings in the processed fruit industry acquired Florida Bulk Sales Inc., a Lakeland-based trader and distributor of industrial fruit ingredients. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. More at the Business Observer.
