amaZulu

Jerry Jackson | 11/27/2012

Ten years after Claire Evans founded amaZulu, the Clermont business is thriving. The company found a niche sourcing and importing natural and synthetic architectural materials like bamboo and thatch for use in theme parks, zoos, resorts, restaurants, hotels, casinos and homes. The company earned more national attention this year when COO Ginger Simpson was recognized by the Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University for leadership inspiring careers of women in the military. Simpson was the female director of the Navy’s Senior Enlisted Academy.
