Millionaire CountMIAMI -- The 2005 World Wealth Report found that high-net-worth individuals, those with at least $1 million in assets excluding their primary residence, increased by 10% in 2004. There are currently 2.7 million Americans with a net worth of at least $1 million -- and their combined assets total $9.3 trillion. In Miami, the number of millionaire households totals 20,183, up 6.36% from 2003. In the next five years, the total number of Miami households will increase by 5.6%, but millionaire households will increase by 49.4%.
