WaterSound North Delay

Wetlands construction work on St. Joe Co.'s WaterSound North, a 1,300-acre golf course development near the Walton-Bay County line, was temporarily halted when a U.S. District judge froze a regional federal wetlands permit. Sierra Club and the Natural Resources Defense Council had sued, saying the project as permitted violates the Clean Water Act. Road and utilities work continues, St. Joe says.
