? Ronald Giffler has been named president of the Broward County Medical Association.

? Germany's Siemens AG has named Berndt Baumgartl president and CEO of its Boca Raton-based telecommunications products and services affiliate, Siemens Communications.

? Gerald Weber, a former top executive with Blockbuster, Nations Rent and AutoNation, has been named president and COO of Lady of America Franchise Corp., a Fort Lauderdale-based women's fitness center franchise.

? Chuck Rubin has been named president of Office Depot's North American retail division. Rubin was Office Depot's executive vice president, chief merchandising/marketing officer.

? Germaine Smith Baugh has been named acting president and CEO of the Urban League of Broward County.
