» Walfrido "Wally" Martinez has returned to Hunton & Williams as managing partner. At 39, he's one of the youngest managing partners at a global firm. He will maintain offices in Miami, New York and Richmond, Va.

» Longtime Steel Hector litigator Janet T. Munn, who defends high-profile class-action and mass tort cases, has joined Shutts & Bowen's Miami office as a partner. Miami attorney Peter H. Levitt, who has more than 20 years' experience in bankruptcy and insolvency litigation, also has joined the Miami office of Shutts & Bowen as a partner in the creditors' rights group.

» Michael B. Feiler, managing partner at Feiler, Leach & McCarron in Coral Gables, has been sworn in as president of the 500-lawyer Dade County Trial Lawyers Association.

» Akerman Senterfitt named 27-year firm veteran Charlie Brumback managing shareholder of the Orlando office. Meanwhile, the Akerman Senterfitt Orlando office lured real estate lawyer Leigh Ann Murvin from Broad and Cassel.

» Franklin R. Harrison of Harrison, Sale, McCloy & Thompson in Panama City has been appointed to the 12-person board of trustees that produces Bar exams in the U.S., the National Conference of Bar Examiners.

» Holland & Knight has named Martin H. Cohn chief marketing officer. Cohn, who will be based in H&K's Miami office, has 25 years' experience, most recently as director of marketing for the southeast region of Grant Thornton LLP.

» Michael Minton was elected president of 50-lawyer firm Dean Mead, where he works in the Fort Pierce office.
