Lilly Rockwell became an associate editor for Florida Trend in late 2011. Prior to working for Trend, Rockwell covered education as a political reporter for the News Service of Florida and worked as a staff writer for Tallahassee and 850 magazines. A Texas native and University of Texas graduate, Rockwell was a business reporter for the Austin American-Statesman before moving to Florida in 2009. She lives in Tallahassee with her husband and stepdaughter, where she enjoys long-distance running, reading and mentoring with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
