Photo Chemical Supply (PCS) acquired the multimedia company Veridian Group of Longwood. PCS bought Veridian to produce World Wide Web sites and other electronic marketing tools for itself and its clients.

Lake Mary

nStor Corp. agreed to acquire California-based computer systems integrator Parity Systems for an undisclosed amount.

Longwood

--

Regions Financial Corp. of Birmingham, Ala., agreed to purchase the five offices of First Mercantile National Bank of Longwood for approximately $21 million.

Voyager Technologies, an airline ticket distribution and technology software company, closed its Arizona office and moved 35 jobs to its Longwood office. The company plans to hire an additional 25, mostly software engineers, by year-end and another 190 by the end of 1998.

Melbourne

The International communications and electronics company Harris Corp. acquired Rochester, New York-based Digital Radio Technology, a leader in the development of air traffic control communications technology, for an undisclosed amount.

Electronic funds transfer companies Southeast Switch, Internet and Alabama Network, with 22,000 Most, Alert and Honor ATM machines in 16 states, have merged into Honor Technologies - creating one of the largest ATM networks in the country. Honor Technologies' headquarters will be in Maitland.

Orlando

The U.S. Department of Justice approved Paxson Communications' acquisition of Orlando radio station WTKS FM, which pushes to six the number of radio stations Paxson owns in Orlando.

Associated Capital Properties completed its $27.2 million purchase of the downtown Orlando Pine Street Building and announced plans to build two more towers. The combined complex will total roughly 750,000 square feet - surpassing Orlando's largest office building by almost 200,000 square feet.

Entertec Development Corp. of London announced plans to buy approximately 450 acres near Walt Disney World and build a movie theme park by the year 2000. The deal has not been finalized and, according to the Central Florida Business Journal, could cost $150 million to $200 million and create 3,000 jobs.

Titusville

--

Corvette parts supplier Eckler Industries merged with used car dealer Smart Choice Holdings on Dec. 30 for an undisclosed amount. The new company, to operate as Smart Choice and be based in Titusville, will be divided into four divisions: Corvette parts, new car sales, used car sales, and insurance and auto financing.
