› Orlando among cities with cheapest gas in state as prices fall to 3-month lows
Gas prices are the cheapest they’ve been in the last three months. The average cost for a gallon of gas is $3.33, after declining 15 cents last week, according to AAA – The Auto Club Group. Gas prices have steadily dropped in the four weeks, which peaked at $3.69 per gallon.

› Iconic 'wave' design approved for 24-story tower on downtown Jacksonville's Southbank
The Four Seasons Hotel being built by Jaguars owner Shad Khan won't be the only new downtown riverfront building designed with a nautical theme if the Related Group can build its own 24-story tower whose wave-like design won raves from the Downtown Development Review Board. The Related Group is trying for a second time to build apartments on the former site of the River City Brewing Company restaurant between the Acosta Bridge and Friendship Fountain.

› In St. Petersburg, a midcentury marvel is on the market
In 1954, architect William B. Harvard Sr. built a house for his family, designing it with features influenced by Florida’s climate and terrain. It had wide overhangs to keep out the direct sun, vents, jalousies and louvered transoms to allow the free flow of air. And, in what can now be seen as a prescient move, it sat at one of the highest points in St. Petersburg.

› This famous doughnut shop is finally opening in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood
At last, Brickell will get its own Salty Donut. The popular doughnut brand is finally setting up in the downtown neighborhood with a long-term pop-up in its signature vintage camper in Mary Brickell Village. The brand, which started in just such a camper in 2015 in Wynwood, has become nationally known for its highly Instagrammable doughnuts, with locations in West Palm Beach, Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, Charlotte, Austin and Dallas.
