› Dream Finders Homes sets IPO price range at $12 to $15 a share
Dream Finders Homes Inc. plans to sell 9.6 million shares of Class A common stock at $12 to $15 each in its initial public offering, according to an updated registration statement filed Jan. 11. The Jacksonville-based homebuilding company filed a confidential registration statement for the IPO with the Securities and Exchange Commission in October. It filed a public registration statement on Dec. 22 but that filing did not say how many shares would be sold.

› Publix Teams Up With Special Olympics to Support Athletes
Publix Super Markets continues its partnership with Special Olympics with a unique donation program that not only benefits the event, but also helps improve sales for the retailer and its suppliers. Publix's annual Torch Icon Campaign, held Jan. 7-18, enables shoppers to support their state athletes with a simple donation during checkout for as little as $1 or a specific desired amount.

› Portillo’s near Disney World plans to open March 2
The much-anticipated opening of the Portillo’s near Walt Disney World is set for March 2. The restaurant, known for its Chicago-style hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches, will be at 7715 Palm Parkway in Unicorp National Developments’ Village at O-Town West development in Lake Buena Vista. Other Florida locations of the chain are in Tampa and Brandon.

› Lot J deal on verge of winning Jacksonville City Council approval
The Lot J development deal with Jaguars owner Shad Khan is poised to win City Council approval Tuesday with a super-majority of council members in favor of legislation committing up to $233 million in city money for a cluster of buildings anchored by a year-round Live! entertainment district.
