› Partnership buys land, plans $22M affordable housing project
A trio of entities, including a nonprofit, for-profit company and county housing agency, have teamed up to purchase a 4.6-acre site in Cape Coral for an affordable housing project. The group paid $950,000 for the site. Tampa-based Catalyst Community Capital, a nonprofit lender that specializes in affordable housing projects, Tampa-based Revital Development Group and the Lee County Housing Authority are the three entities in the deal.
› PortMiami huge project spending list wins county OK
PortMiami projects costing Miami-Dade more than $301.5 million won OKs just two days before commissioners OK’d waiving up to $285.5 million for cruise lines crushed by Covid-19. Commissioners signed off last month on construction deals required by prior berthing and development pacts. Each came via competitive bid, Deputy Mayor Jack Osterholt wrote.

› Fetch package delivery service setting up warehouse in Baymeadows
Fetch, a package delivery service for apartment residents, is growing in Jacksonville. The city issued a permit Nov. 3 for Lighthouse Construction of North Florida LLC to build-out 7,600 square feet for the Austin, Texas-based service at 7658 Philips Highway. Fetch Package Inc. accepts and stores packages from any carrier at its facility for delivery to apartment residents.
