Budget leads major issues in Florida legislature's last week

It’s down to the wire for Florida’s 2019 legislative session. State lawmakers have until the end of Friday to finalize a roughly $90 billion budget that outlines spending priorities for education, health care, criminal justice, transportation and the environment. Magic Leap raises another $280 million, and is looking for more

Magic Leap is seeking more cash from investors. The Plantation-based startup, which already has raised $2.3 billion from some of the world’s largest companies, has received $280 million in funding from Japan-based cell phone company NT DoCoMo, Magic Leap said in a news release.
