› XG product installed in Costa Rica
XG Technology Inc., the Sarasota-based wireless telecommunications company, said a company has successfully installed its xMax broadband network in Escazu, Costa Rica, a city just outside the capital of San Jose.

› Universal closing Wet 'n Wild Orlando at the end of 2016
Wet 'n Wild, the longstanding International Drive water park, will close for good at the end of 2016, a Universal Orlando official announced Wednesday. The park opened in 1977. It has been owned by Universal since 1998.

› Minting millionaires: Nearly a million joined club last year
Nearly a million people became millionaires last year. The number of people worth $1 million or more rose by 920,000 last year, hitting a record 14.6 million.

› Eliminating voice mail can save companies money
Voice mail is headed in the same direction as the fax machine, another 1970s-era essential business tool. Both will be extinct within a few years.
