An announcement by the U.S. Secretary of State concerning new sanctions on two dozen high-ranking Venezuelan officials linked to human rights abuses was met with party line reaction by some of Florida’s top politicians.

Weston-based software giant Ultimate Software posted record recurring revenues Tuesday for the second quarter in a row. The increase was primarily due to growth of its cloud-based services, the company said.

Three finalists have been selected for Florida Farm Bureau’s 2014 Achievement in Agriculture Award and will compete in October for the top statewide honor.
