Miami startup LiveNinja, which specializes in real-time video chat, launched a new product on Wednesday aimed at connecting customers with businesses through online video chat.

› Wet summer results in lower sugar cane production
A wet summer is resulting in lowered production for sugar cane farmers. The Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative and Florida Crystals Corp. are reporting a 9 percent drop in sugar cane production over last year.

› A revolution in Wynwood
By mid-morning most weekdays, Tom Curitore has walked much of the expansive and evolving Wynwood Arts District he’s now in charge of taking to the next level. Mr. Curitore is the founding executive director of the Wynwood Business Improvement District (BID).
