› Hard Rock announces $10M guarantee tournament
The Seminole Tribe of Florida is going all-in with poker, announcing Monday it will launch a $10 million guaranteed tournament. The tournament, called the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open, will run Aug. 22-29 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood and cost $5,300 to enter.

Pine Tree Equity, a private equity firm based in Miami, said on Monday that it closed its third private investment fund of $100 million. The latest fund was “materially oversubscribed beyond its $100 million cap,” the company said.

› Magic celebrate 25th anniversary with new logo
The Magic will celebrate their 25-year anniversary as an NBA franchise next season with a new logo and also wear throwback replica jerseys from their 1989-90 expansion season. "The logo celebrates the great 25-year history of the franchise," Magic CEO Alex Martins said. "We've had great success.
