Consumer Price Index: A 5-Year High

5-Year High

3.2% — Jacksonville’s Consumer Price Index climbed 3.2% over the first nine months of the year, according to the University of North Florida’s Local Economic Indicators Project. That’s the highest inflation rate for the area since UNF launched its index in 2002.

A crowd cheered and took photos as two loggerhead sea turtles slowly made their way through the sand and into the Atlantic Ocean. Monday's turtle release marked the end of their rehabilitation at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach, Florida.
