St. Johns Outgaining Duval

Suburban St. Johns County added more people last year than its much-larger neighbor, Duval County, according to new estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau.

7,000 - population gain in St. Johns County last year.

 6,800 - population gain in Duval County, all but a few dozen were the result of births outnumbering deaths. Almost as many people moved out of Duval as in.
