» Glenn D. Waters is the new president of Clearwater-based Morton Plant Mease, a four-hospital medical group that employs 7,300. Waters had been COO of the Moses Cone Health System in Greensboro, N.C. He replaces the retiring Phil Beauchamp.

» Patrick Conran has been promoted to vice president of operations at Owen-Ames-Kimball Co., a Fort Myers general contracting firm.

» The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce has appointed Thomas Hoolihan
its 2008-09 president.
