Dun & Bradstreet: From Jersey to Jacksonville

| 1/17/2024

Dun & Bradstreet’s move from New Jersey to Florida is just the type of corporate relocation the state of Florida relishes.

Specializing in business decisioning data and analytics worldwide, Dun & Bradstreet moved its global headquarters from Short Hills, New Jersey, to Jacksonville’s Town Center II as part of a promise to create 500 new, high-wage jobs over five years and generate $75 million in capital investment. Dun & Bradstreet, which has approximately 6,000 employees worldwide in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, had a history in New Jersey since 1841. The move was made, according to company officials, with future growth and sustainability in mind.

In August at a JAXUSA Partnership meeting, Dun & Bradstreet CEO Anthony Jabbour was reported as saying this about Jacksonville: “It’s got everything going for it. It’s been easy for us to attract talent.”

Further, right at about that same time, the company was awarded a 2023 Tech Cares Award from TrustRadius, a B2B technology decisioning platform, for the company’s dedicated commitment and impactful corporate social responsibility programs for employees and surrounding communities. The award recognizes demonstrated exceptional corporate social responsibility, with particular focus on volunteerism; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs; charitable donations and fundraising; workplace culture; and demonstrable support for environmental sustainability.

Through Dun & Bradstreet’s global giving and volunteering program, called Do Good, employees receive 16 hours of paid volunteer time off annually to volunteer independently in their communities or alongside their colleagues during local volunteer events organized by the company. In 2022, Dun & Bradstreet employees invested 8,702 hours of their time to their communities through the Do Good program.

Indeed, that’s the type of corporate partner any region in any state would love to have.
